ADA Service

ADA & Paratransit Service

If you have an ADA-defined disability and live within 3/4 mile of a bus fixed route, you can request a ride by calling The Current at least 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and holidays) 7:45 am-4:30 pm. All ADA riders must be pre-approved by The Current. The fare is twice the normal fare. If you have challenges with your hearing, please call Relay Vermont at 711. Please contact us to request alternative formats.

Public transportation in Windham and Southern Windsor area is becoming more accessible to persons with disabilities. Thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), improvements in accessibility make traveling on fixed route buses easier for all riders.

We are committed to developing a public transportation system that everyone can use. We encourage individuals with disabilities to take advantage of the independence and flexibility that is provided by our bus routes.
